It's been a wildly entertaining pleasure being your "belt lady!" I started this business in 2011, when I was 26. I just wanted to finance lengthy trips in Asia and meet interesting people at festivals then. I did all that and so much more with this brand. I saw my creations enter stores throughout the country, be worn on trips throughout the world, and personally styled thousands of customers and friends at some of the best festivals on the West Coast. It's been one crazy ride for sure! A crazy journey, that became a nomadic late night lifestyle. A lifestyle that I've now grown out of. Change is good, growth is good. And saying goodbye to this chapter of my life is something I've needed to do for a while.

In my new world, I'm a mom to two beautiful girls living in a redwood forest next to the sea. I'm happy, utterly happy waking up to these two every morning. Even with all the pulled hair, throw ups and meltdowns, they are my joy. I still design and create art whenever I can, and I have dreams of doing a clothing line in the hopefully not too distant future. However, for the time being, it's liberating to have a blank slate again.
