Wild JUNE is looking for Sales Representatives to work at festivals and events. This is a great position for someone that is interested in a side job on the weekends, going to their favorite festivals with a work purpose, and has a flare for sales and speaking to people.
This is a position that requires me to trust you a lot! I need someone that is responsible, honest, good natured, outgoing, talkative, hardworking and respectful of the merchandise. You must have the stamina and the energy to work long hours. You must have the muscle to lift some heavy stuff. This isn't the easiest job in the world and it's not for everyone, but it's fun and you can make a lot of money if you're good at sales. It's being at the party and working at the party, but not fully diving into the party until you're off duty or packed up.
The customer base for Wild JUNE is most often festival goers in their 20's and 30's, and people that are out-of-the-box thinkers. The right candidate for this position should be someone that fits into this customer base. You must have a car and be located in Southern California. Prior sales experience is preferred but not necessary.
If hired, you will be given a sales guide, with all of the insider tips and info on how to sell the belts and holsters. Anything that I would say to a customer, as well as how to identify which piece a customer might want, is written in there. We will do one day of non-paid training where you will come with me to an event and get some hands-on experience. If the training goes well, you’re set after that to start working events on your own. You must work a minimum of 3 events on your own before I can send you to a festival on your own. All supplies for vending will be provided, however you must have a car.
If you are working at a festival or event where I am also working, you will receive a fixed pay for your time. If you are working a festival or event on your own, you will receive a 25% commission on sales.
Events throughout Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego. Festivals throughout California, as well as a couple festivals and events outside of California this summer.
Weekend hours are mandatory
